Hello! My name is Matthew Barberio. My main job is advocating for animal welfare, but that is not all I do. I am also a researcher of strange phenomenon and mysterious creatures. For years, I have adamantly believed in everything weird. Aliens, Bigfoot, ghost ships, you name it. I will research everything to see if it is to be believed or if it is fake or has a conventional explanation. I listen to every story. But most importantly, I don’t ridicule anyone. No matter how crazy or unbelievable the story may seem. Often, the craziest encounters turn out to be the truest.

Every bit of folklore has some level of truth to it. Like the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS), I weed through it to separate the truth from the fiction.
